I translated the hem into a whole lace for you to knit, as well as separated it into a trimming and insertion, if you’d like to use a thinner section of the original design!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI used the whole lace pattern to trim my own 1890s drawers, and just the edging portion to trim the bottom of my chemise! Then, to trim the armholes and neckline of my chemise, I translated an original 1880s lace pattern, that is quite narrow. Since I thought it was a bit narrow to sew onto garments, I decided to also modify that lace to create a wider version that will be easier to sew onto garments.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI hope you enjoy!
